About Doable
We're a small, independent team who think most productivity advice is exhausting — built for machines, not tired humans. Doable is about getting the right things done and still having a life left over.
Productivity content online tends to glorify the grind: wake at 5 a.m., optimize every minute, hustle harder. For most real people, that's a fast track to burnout and guilt. Doable is the gentle opposite. We're for the person with a full plate and limited energy who just wants a calmer, more realistic way to get things done — and to feel okay at the end of the day.
How we research and write
Our guidance blends well-established, widely respected productivity and focus principles — think prioritization, single-tasking, and sustainable habit-building — with an honest respect for how real energy and motivation actually work. We keep methods simple enough to stick, we're skeptical of hustle-culture hype, and we're upfront that no system fixes everything; the goal is progress you can maintain, not a perfect week.
Our promise to you
- Anti-burnout. We favor sustainable pace over "rise and grind." Rest is part of the plan, not a reward.
- Realistic, not aspirational. Our advice assumes distractions, bad days, and limited willpower — because that's real life.
- Kindness over pressure. A missed day isn't a failure. Getting the one important thing done is a good day.
How we're funded
Doable is free to read. We keep it that way by occasionally earning a small commission through affiliate links, and by offering a few of our own printable planners and guides. It costs you nothing extra and never changes what we recommend — we only point you toward things we'd actually use, and any page with affiliate links says so plainly.
Say hello
We love hearing which small change actually helped and what you'd like us to make simpler next. This site is made by people who'd rather help you do less, better — go easy on yourself today.
